Her latest film Kayaking The Aleutians has won numerous awards at adventure film festivals across the globe.In her most recent expedition with teammate Sarah Outen, the two became the first to kayak the Aleutian Island chain from Adak to Homer Alaska. It was 4 months and 1500 miles of kayaking in a remote landscape with strong winds, fast currents, and rugged coastlines.

Recently local councils in Scotland and New Zealand have banned the sale of energy drinks to minors. Or enforced outright bans on their sale in some venues. Within the global media there has been much talk about the adverse effects of energy and sugary drinks on young people coupled with recent research attesting the same.

Energy drink companies such as Red Bull and Monster are consistently omnipresent at many adventure sport events and festivals. They also sponsor many of the world’s top adventure sport athletes who are powerful symbols to the outdoor community.

So what we want to know is. should adventure sport events and festivals accept sponsorship from energy drinks companies?
